There are celebrations for the 100 year anniversary of International Women’s Day all next week.
Every day there is something on to go to- if you want to sit back and chill out, then start by coming down to Dee Why beach this Sunday March 6 as the Music in March kick off with “Songbirds”.
This event runs from 2pm -5pm at Dee Why Beach, bring a picnic blanket and some bubbly to listen to the 3 incredible female outfits- Zoe Elliiott, the Charlotts Jane Trio and Ella Freestone as well as an aditional performance by Ausdance.
Ella has just turned 18 and is an acoustic pop,singer,songwriter from Manly with a newly released album.
Zoe is also a Northern Beaches girl whose voice is perfectly suited for big ballads & bluesy songs.
The Charlotte Jane Trio is a smooth jazz outfit with Charlotte on vocals and violin, Shami on guitar and they are backed by one of sydney’s finest on bass.
Some of Inspiring Women will be down at the beach showing their wares- come down and say hello!
I will be MC on the stage as well as manning the Inspiring Women stall-visit us and enjoy the music.
