Launch of Inspiring Futures for Young Women – June 12

Inspiring the Future Australia are VERY excited to formally invite you to the launch of their sub-campaign Inspiring Futures for Young Women.

This is an exciting campaign that focuses on raising the profile of careers with low female participation, empowering young women to follow their passion and skills without fear and challenging gender stereotypes around success, career and skills. This is done through our free and secure matching software, that connects volunteers from the world of work with teachers and schools.

Their launch is kindly being hosted by Brigidine College in St Ives and will be held on the evening of the 12th of June 2018.

Their keynote speaker is Kelly McJannett – CEO – Foodladder and Brigidine Alumni member, Class of 2004. Food Ladder is an award winning business funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade internationally that has collectively created employment for over 600 people previously living in poverty or suffering from long-term unemployment. With a background in communications, Kelly is experienced in developing start-ups as well as designing innovative and compelling strategies to deliver growth. We’ll also be hearing from a wonderful panel of women on women in the workforce. The evening will include networking opportunities and a light supper.

You can see the information for this event on the Save the Date attached.
