A chiropractor is a healthcare professional who specialises in the health and function of the spine and nervous system. Because of this focus on the spine- Many people think that we can only help with problems such as back pain, neck pain and headaches. There is much more to chiropractic than this.
Chiropractic care is about total health and wellbeing, helping people feel great, and helping people to get the most out of life by helping people function at their full potential. Our aim is to uses adjustments of the spine (which is there to protect the spinal cord and surrounding nerves), to free any misalignments allowing your spine to move more freely). By doing this it enables your body to convey messages more effectively, and to create a happier, healthier you. I have just returned from India doing a volunteer chiropractic trip and our team of 33 chiropractors treated over 6000 patients in North-east India as well as provide medical aid to schools and the local people in the area. As inspiring as it was- I am happy to be home to provide care to the people of my local community.
I have completed a Bachelor of Science (Exercise Science) degree at Wollongong University, followed by a Master Degree of Chiropractic at Macquarie University, graduating in 2017. It was here that I developed my passion for the Gonstead technique, Neurology, Paediatrics and working with Sports Teams.
I believe in educating and empowering my patients and families within the community about their nervous system to help them live happy and healthy lifestyles. Working alongside the amazing team at Prestidge Chiropractic in 2018, I endeavour to share my knowledge and skills, to help you achieve your goals, and a balanced life.
